The household—not the individual—is the basic unit and building block of civilization.

This is why the constant upending of the household has dealt a death blow to the culture, the body politic, the church, and every institution.

Everything we face now in the West is downstream of the hollowing out of the household. This mean that the recovery of productive, covenantal, sovereign, and faithful households is of the utmost importance. Restore the household, restore civilization.

Young men, take note. Husbands and fathers, take note.

And who is the holder of the house? We need to restore the father. And we need to be direct with the language. Not shy. Patriarchy is civilization. The authority of the father is not tyranny, it is that which prevents tyranny. Undermining his authority is exactly how tyranny is established.

Humans do not function well without cultural traditions.

But isn't it the father and mother's job to teach what the rules are, and why...

There is no household but of voluntarily inter-cooperating individuals. Households serve the individuals involved.

Families, particularly father's, are often the most oppressive of people's. If someone is abused, whether verbally, physically, emotionally or sexually it's must likely to be a family members. Standing up for families is standing up for abuse.
