Yesterday, after I'd been to church in the morning, I was witness to an act of violence, two groups fighting.

I'm getting fed up with the behaviours of some people at the moment.

I want to grab them all by the scruff of the neck and say No, there is a better way. It doesn't have to be like this.

But would they listen? Would it not be a waste of energy?

I want to have faith in people, to believe in them and their capacity for goodness, but Lord knows, they make it difficult sometimes.
