It's because as Muslims we can't just conform to whatever the west says.
Look at homosexuality for example, the Bible doesn't allow homosexuality either but since society says that it's "normal" a vast amount of Christians widely accept it.

Should a Muslim express his disdain for sodomy on a social media platform like X he'd get banned for hate speech on the spot
