I once saw an abandoned motor bike (off the trail on steeps and they couldn't get it back on the trail) it was wild adventure i had on my pedal bike. Im guessing he walked out for help. Them bikes are heavy

I had a buddy in high shool I use to always ride trail (we cut our own trails) with and he stopped riding his CR500 after a downed tree. I picked up my KX80 and chucked it over the tree. Not him. He got home 2 hours later, LOL!
