@Jezza™ I see one issue is his attempt at using permanent magnets instead of electro magnets.

The US Navy has used MHD water jets for propulsion for decades now. But not as a generator.

That is reserved for direct electrical capture in fusion reactors. TAE, which was bought by DJT has said that will be part of the upgrade path to their reactor after proven on the steam cycle.

They will also be upgrading from D-T to proton-Boron for the fuel, which is entirely aneutronic
