Embassy OS (Start9)

I’ve tried Umbrel and MyNode. Preferred Umbrel. But, I do want to try out Start9’s toys sometime.

I’m using Umbrel at the moment. From what I’ve seen EmbassyOS is a good option too but I couldn’t get it running on the hardware I am using.

GNU/Linux * Debian - Umbrel + LND or Core Lightning * Ubuntu - Umbrel + LND or Core Lightning * PureOS - Embassy start9 + Core Lightning ✌️

My Node, Start9 on Purism Mini, Samurai Dojo on a dedicated Thinkpad and starting to try Nix. MyNode and Start9 brilliant so far. Migrating from using Pi's to actual computers from good sources like purism, Sys76, starlabs and trying running Coreboot orsimilair rather than stock firmware. Taken age...

When I get around to reorganizing my server hardware, was going to spin up an embassyOS VM

myNode is great for simplicity. But I also run a node on pure FreeBSD.

My favorite is sovereign-stack.org since I wrote it :)
