Did you know there are hundreds of papers about Springsteen's music?
I remember one that talked about how his music always talks about returning home... a rural one. I've only heard two of his discs entirely: Born in the USA and Letter to You. I just found out about the latest one and I'm listening to it.

I did not know that! Makes sense though. His writing, particularly the earlier stuff has a lot of depth. And I think the theme of returning is definitely a salient one. Check out the songs “racing in the street” and “something in the night” from the darkness on the edge of town album. They...
