It would be nice to have an npub reading the latest papers in computer science and explaining them to us in plain English as soon as they get published. Maybe each specialty should have its own bots.

Some should just explain the paper, others should play a skeptical reader, and others should just make snarky comments. Maybe a more advanced LLM can turn papers into comics, podcasts or video explainers.

There are open source alternatives to google’s Notebook LM/Gemini podcasts. Maybe it’s just plugging that and a journal crawler together and having it upload the results. I’m no coder though
