I don't disagree but think social is the important glue that ties them all together. When I was building nostrcal and nostrmusic I kept wanting to extend them with social features but I had never built true social elements in those. I think that's the glue that should tie a lot of the pieces back together. That's why I started working on nostr.blue to be more of an everything app with social as the cohesion layer.

Absolutely. The Nostr protocol is a social protocol. It is 100% the secret sauce that makes it exciting. Especially with the flexibility it offers, and payments built-in. But it also creates developer space that leads to nowhere. “Omg check out what I can do with my HTTP app!” says nothing to ...
