do i really need to add one of the big relays that notifications work? 2nd time in a short time, that a client didn't send the notification to one of my relays. nostr is weird and it is a little bit frustrating. i thought the person didn't answer. but the person did answer, i just did not get a notification

Certain relays, Damus, Primal, nos etc have a ton of people that use it. So it’s helpful but not necessary. The beauty? You get to choose

Notifications work best on Nostur and #NoorNote, because they’re both desktop clients. Out of the web clients, Jumble and Yakihonne are the best when it comes to notifications. Then comes the rest, and way at the end, eventually Primal. But on Twitter/X, notifications never fully worked either.
