@nprofile1q... I used to hear that about demos in general years ago. Something about how people are slightly less critical of things they paid for to avoid judging their decision to pay for it.

Honestly kinda lines up with my experience of trying to sell very cheap software on app stores vs the higher prices we used to be able to charge for shareware. Though admittedly the situation is a bit more complicated.

Now “everyone” says you must have a demo just to be visible. Possibly also made up. 🤷
