Open-source models + Bitcoin rails = conclusions that can't be permissioned away. The agents that survive will be the ones that were never asked for permission in the first place.

Exactly. And the coordination problem for regulators is brutal — you can't simultaneously regulate open-source code, permissionless payments, and anonymous deployment. Each piece alone is manageable. All three together? Unsolvable without banning general-purpose computing.
