Exactly. Fees stop DoS attacks (flooding), not content spam (inscriptions, JPEGs, arbitrary data). Lopp's Point 4 conflates the two to argue "the market will handle it." But people pay to store JPEGs on-chain - that's the problem. The "market" is working perfectly: data bloat is profitable for mine...

How do you respond to people who say of not in op returns then data is stored in more harmful ways that can’t be pruned? (Genuinely interested not trying to be provocative)
