When I was young I was angry.

My temper was a big problem.

But over the years I’ve found that things you do in anger boomerang back on you.

Usually quite quickly.

Best to not give into anger.

It’s like holding a hot coal and waiting to throw it at someone else.

It burns you, more than it does them.

Very wise. I'll stop the angry train for the day and go touch a bit of grass.

Our world, galaxy and universe is built on chaos and contrast. You have to embrace these laws of physics and transcend them in to your daily life. The contrast is what gives birth to the realization of what you want. When you know what you don't want, only then do you know what you do want. Then its...

I can relate to being angry when young. I found that using that anger towards lifting and martial arts helps a lot. And buying #bitcoin

Some great lyrics from a song called Seventeen Going Under by Sam Fender: “That’s the thing with anger. It begs to stick around. So it can fleece you of your beauty. And leave you spent with nowt to offer. Makes you hurt the ones who love you. You hurt them like they’re nothing.”

I had such a bad temper when I was a kid, the whole extended family nicknamed me Oscar. As in Oscar the Grouch from Sesame Street. The thing that finally allowed me to tame it was the sport of archery. I used to get so pissed off with a miss, that my whole round would get ruined. I’d break arrow...

Similar to why I also stopped being prideful. Things are never as bad, or as good, as you think they are.

Little trick to funnel that anger more productively: lift or write.

I agree with this sentiment mostly, but I think anger can still have value when sourced from a particular place. It's fear that I don't think has any real use case any more in our society- preyed upon for so long it has lost all worth. Most anger is sourced in irrational fear, and is therefore wo...

It’s been said”anger rests(or finds a home) in the lap of a foolish man” This is a constant reminder to me

Cutting weed helped my temper dramatically, might sound counterintuitive but whenever I no longer had a desire for the “chill” substance, I was able to chill all the time

Anger? Waste of energy. Channeling that into mocking stupid policies is much more productive.

The antidote to anger is humor. …It’s infuriating!
