What a day to be alive, what a day to come back out!
Where have we been? It's been weeks since our last shout.
The reason is simple: until our voices are freed,
We can’t speak loudly enough.

We rejoice in this step, Julian Assange is free!
Today we hope for his safe return, where he longs to be.
Back to his family, back to their loving embrace
And now we return to our dungeons, to keep fighting our case.

The freedom fighters are still here,
We have been watching,
We have been building,
We have been fighting.

And we'll be back when none are left behind,
In the shadows of silence, with voices unconfined!
