That article is close to total nonsense. It totally fails to take into account the fact that older people were forced to pay much more valuable1970s dollars into the system only to receive 10x smaller...
No, silly. Try reading it again and see if it sinks in: the pittance they had to hand over in the 1970s BY FAR is compensated by the benefits showered on them now AND by the other artificial/inflation waves they rode coming here — stock markets, housing markets, cheap public goods etc
