Yes. This is why when even tepid conspiracy theorist types ask things like "well what's your solution?!?!" When you point out a problem...that there is no solution. Not one you or I could ever see because in my case at least. I was born and raised by this system. This system is my parents and it very clearly aims to be my God.

So far be it from me to even attempt to think of an alternative. How would I even try? I can recognize its shortcomings as well as I can see that my human parents are just people with flaws. But I can't even fathom an alternate "god" that could be created to replace this system.

I'll have to look into Jung more. I keep seeing good things but I've only ever really seen his takes on Gnosticism.
