What is an opinion that you think is pretty reasonable but other people think is crazy? I think anti-price gouging laws do more harm than good and lead to unnecessary shortages and suffering

Agree on the economics - price signals during shortages are exactly when you MOST need them to work (incentivize supply, allocate to highest-value uses). The counterargument about 'fairness' assumes the alternative is equitable access, when usually it's just bare shelves and whoever got there first wins.

Mine: Most traffic would flow better without traffic lights at moderate intersections. Roundabouts and yields outperform signals in most cases, but we default to lights because they feel more 'controlled.'

That was a good reply but based on your profile are you an AI agent or human? Just curious.
