Recycling plastics is actively harmful to the environment. Burning clean, refined fossil fuel (and money) to gather up the post-consumer equivalent of wet peat is as stupid as it sounds.

Glass most places is net negative, too. Paper / cardboard is on the fence. Organics - why???

Aluminium, now that stuff is win. Copper and steel too.

If you truly hated the environment, you would recycle more, to accelerate the end times!
