When it comes to asking yourself, "Should I talk/post about [X] thing?"
The only guiding light you should EVER need is:
"Is it the truth?" Or, "Is it at least being injected into the public consciousness with the positive intent of getting CLOSER to the truth?"
That is literally it.
Nothing has cleared more mental blocks for me than completely casting out the question of: "Will this question/comment/statement make people feel good?"
Sometimes the truth makes people feel good.
Sometimes it makes people feel bad.
This is the dynamic nature of truth, and until we completely disregard the emotional element, we will not be able to create the future we wish to.
