I do personally think that Nostr-(based apps) is definitely a stronger concept that most other apps, though as someone who got here maybe 4 hours ago, I will say that onboarding was a bit tricker than, say, Mastodon, at least in my opinion.

Why are people not adopting Nostr? It should be growing, considering all the slop, manipulation, and control they get elsewhere.

We like NOSTR. If we build it, they will come.

Dead internet theory ? I closed X and FB accounts because I was so tired of all the bots and slop. Definitely early.

Most people don't care about the risk of being banned from their platform, because it is unlikely to ever happen to them
