This was what drew me back to the church, eventually. I recognised somethings as being, for want of a better way to describe them, demonic. I reasoned, if I can believe that evil is real, then I must ...
This pretty much sums it up for me as well. At about 12 or so I rejected our family church and stayed pretty anti religion until I started having children of my own.
βIt occurred to me that many of the virtues I possess, are specifically BECAUSE of the years I spent with good churchgoing people.
In order for me to pass that to my children, I started going to church regularly.
Its not perfect by any means, but the support network is amazing.
