some part of recent technology would still exist, but not at the same low price and popularity. The entire West and non-China countries would be struggling to manufacture all the goods China now manufactures seemingly effortlessly over there. Western politicians, CEOs and other evildoers are drunk on China's manufactured goods and could not survive a day without it.
Smartphones with 8 core CPU and 8 GB RAM? Yes but costing $1000 each
Traffic cameras reading license plates? Yes but $10k each (with the needed processing power, lense etc.) and prohibitively expensive for mass surveillance
QR Code readers for restaurant menus, parking, Covid certificates and soon internet age verification? would cost $200 each, impossible to impose on normal people
