A few months ago @Shadrach put me in contact with the folks at @Bitcredit Protocol. Hubertus and crew are building a protocol that facilitates global trade on bitcoin rails via ecash and bills of exchange (check out bit.cr for more info). They introduced me to Jorge Cruz (@Cherito + tierrabendito.net), who hooked me up with this month’s coffee. Grown by producer Don Noe Posada on the majestic peaks of Finca Mt. Olympo in the Chalatenango region, El Cuadrado Pacamara Red Honey is grown between 1500-2000 meters above sea level and carefully processed on raised beds.
This is the first offering of SOUND COFFEE I’ve sourced from a fellow bitcoiner, and it’s a significant step forward in my vision for a sats denominated supply chain from seed to cup.
What to look for in the cup:
A relatively heavy body, a bit of red stone fruit, and balanced sweetness and acidity. I believe this coffee will be a comforting companion as we head into the colder months.
