People mistakenly think that life is better now than it was 50 years ago because they have more technology.

That is completely false, since technology is generally deflationary.

The best example is food. Foods that 50 years ago were considered food for the poor are now considered food for the rich.

Families do not have enough purchasing power to maintain a healthy diet.

People are eating more and more junk food for one simple reason: you’re much poorer than you were 50 years ago.

That’s how the system works.

This is the result of the Jew slavery financial system , they pay you with money that gets devaluated over time , I don't understand why people don't want to see the truth and stop accepting their nasty "money"!!!

Same is true for tech. A high end workstation would cost something like $20k today. You still get the same spec my computer had 8 years ago for the same price.

Real deflation happened, and it was not technology. What changed is the mix of what a family has to buy. Since August 1976 the headline index is up by a factor of 5.8 and food at home by 5.1. Shelter is up 8.3. Medical care services, the least mechanised line in the basket, is up 12.6. A technology...
