Does anyone have experience making zines and stickers at home? Is there a printer you’d recommend?

I’m currently eyeing an Epson EcoTank (the ET-8550 A3, specifically). I’ll also need a cutting machine (Cricut Maker?) and a laminator, but I want to focus on the printer first 😅

I have a lot of sticker rxperience at this point. Cricut maker is a great machine for home projects and small to medium scale. Just remember to make sure the printer can't lock you out of using whatever ink and paper you want. Same goes for any cutting machine you might look up. Don't shy away from used models ~

The ET-8550 prints most colors in dye ink, which wants real moisture protection, ideally lamination for anything that gets wet. Run a water, rub, and sunlight test before selling any sticker.

If you want A3 sheets for the zines, the ET-8550 doesn’t support automatic double-sided printing at that size. You’d need to flip them by hand.
