A new marketing term is upon us. Web 4.0 just dropped. And honestly? The core idea isn't wrong. Unlike Web 3.0, which was a solution desperately searching for a problem, while quietly funneling VC money into rug pulls and scams, Web 4.0 is different. Sure, the VC hype machine is still running, but the underlying technology is actually useful, where as shitcoins were not useful. With Web 4.0, we have Al agents that understand context, websites that adapt and act, and autonomous systems are doing real work.

the way I see it. 1.0 was static. 2.0 opened up functionality, 3.0 is all the peripheral stuff that came from innovation & money. we're still in 3.0.
