ultimately i didn't want to go to another app to schedule them. that's a pain in the ass for me. that said, amethyst now supports them. i haven't tried the Amethyst implementation though. it has some limitations, as the device needs to be connected and you need to have on-device notifications enabled. the other methods seem to be better or more reliable, but require you to rely on a third party service.
