I like the absence of ads and algo: in comprison, scrolling through IG & X feels like reading advertising catalogs. I get the sense that this space facilitate real conversations + intellectual exchange more than the mainstream socials where “likes& views”are the main attention currency. “Likes & views” are so easily gamed, infrastructure that encourages real stake in online action/reaction feels especially important in an age of information overload. Content being economically incentivized is not unique to Nostr, but I like that sats lands directly on a LN wallet and is immediately transactable without KYC flows -> freedom for people to not only express but monetize on their ideas. Ive been observing to Nostr development from the sideline for a few years now, seems like majority user are from Bitcoin/LN community, defo looking forward to see more communities being able to leverage these tech. :)
