Shitty photo, I’m afraid. The experience was unexpected. The people riding in it were mostly old women, and a mom with a very young boy. Antonio.
The driver knew everyone’s name, but my own, and their family affairs. He maneuvered the tiny thing with ease, going up and down the hills, on the narrowest streets in the city. Made a few extra stops along the way, to say hello to people walking by. Also knew their names.
I stepped off with a smile in my face. Felt like I was leaving a 70s Italian movie.
