If you are using NutZaps on Amethyst, the cashu option in zaps will only show if the receiver has selected mints to receive and if you and the receiver share a Mint. Otherwise, things just go through lightning, which defeats the purpose of using Cashu in the first place.

So the best setup is to use cashu when you can (super private), then lightning zaps if that is not available.
