I'm playing Twilight Princess and about to do the water temple, which requires me to have the waterproof bombs. I bought several, and used all of them blowing up stuff that got me either treasure or into the temple.

I ran out of bombs just when I got into the temple. The game then directly told me (through imp whore toilet roastie Midna) that I needed bombs to get any further in the temple.

There were no bombs to be found anywhere in the temple. There were no bombs when I left the temple, like in the grass or any shops or any treasure chests of any kind.

Midna whore tells me "Kakariko Village has those bombs."

I ride my horse across the ENTIRE GAME to get to Kakariko Village.

The bridge is out.

I ride my horse THE OTHER WAY ACROSS THE ENTIRE GAME to get to Kakariko Village.

The other bridge is out too.

Midna whore refuses to warp me anywhere when I press the "Midna whore warp me somewhere" button.

Even if the game did NOT just softlock itself (I didn't do anything wrong) and it turns out there somehow is still a way to get back to the village at this point, the game is objectively quantifiably incorrectly made (i.e. bad).

Wind Waker at its worst never did this, making Wind Waker a measurably superior game in a way that is not arguable.

I could've done better game development even as a child, and in fact I did (the game ideas I came ...
