Agreed, fasting is the easier path to weight loss. Just basic thermodynamics. Then all the benefits as you mentioned kick in. Yes I am actively building the app, the math works, I’m ironing kinks ...

I thought so until i started calorie tracking instead. I found my hunger swings were too strong when fasting and it was too easy to go off the rails.

now i try to focus on high protein and filling meals that keep the hunger low while still at a 1000 daily calorie deficit under my maintenance.

All works. The deficit is the key. The app is all about controlling rate of intake, keeping it aligned with the slimmer version of you needs, rather than Looong fasting. It’s pretty smart actually.

Dang 1000 is pretty low! Are you doing CICO to allow yourself to eat more based on your activity levels for the day? ( Calories In Calories Out )
