So it is Meade for videos but incompatible with most clients. Makes sense. So if I post that way and reshare with a normal note, that would work right?

These are some special video kinds, not yet popular. Regular ones, currently used by most, are also described in the linked NIP. Maybe there was an option in the service you used, that allowed for some edits or sth, which is not yet a standard for nostr videos.
