I apologize if my AI doomerism bothers you. I thought we were on nostr because we deliberately chose not to hand over our lives to algorithms. I don't see that happening, i see us handing away more and more of our decisions (be it coding or general) delegated to a big tech controlled megamind, and I'm not okay with it.

You may call me a luddite or say that I should "get with the times". But i refuse to build a world I don't wish to live in.

Maybe you guys wish to live in a world where you own nothing and be happy, the world you're steering us towards by your promotion of this tech. I don't.

I don't think AI is bad. I love local AI, i promote it, I'm even fine if you're building cool stuff with your anthropic assigned slave hours.

I am however very uncomfortable with agents that do absolitely nothing while giving you a false sense of power and giving you pretense that they know what they are doing. All of you people falling into the hype and promoting it because of your sunken costs bias, need to snap out of it. All you're doing is giving money to a large corporation that indirectly makes owning stuff unaffordable while producing stuff that's been produced a 100 times before, and no one else cares about.

And i know a lot of you who do have some domain knowledge will build great things with it, but stop making others believe that they will too, because they'll just end up burning money with it.

Stop hyping this tech up as something it's not. It's not a living creature who knows everything.
It's just an LLM that makes you believe it until it runs out of context.
