Unexpectedly, one of the coolest things about Germany (or at least, Frankfurt) is that everyone has a really awesome bike. Like these are really slick machines with streamlined lightweight frames, precise derailleurs, well-fitted and aligned splash guards, and even hydraulic disk brakes seem very common. It's a much, much higher average than I've seen in any other country, including the US.
