it can operate/control a machine/computer, so it can actually execute tasks.
So for example, i put a fresh OS install on a laptop, put openclaw on it, said its task its to aid me in writing my book and gathering all my material that is online. It made a list of software it needs, such as a youtube downloader, transcribe software etc. Went out to scrape all my nostr posts/articles/videos, i gave it all the youtube links of the podcast appearences ive done. I also gave it all the drafts and voicenotes i already made. And now all of it is neatly archived, transscribed and I can spar with it.
All by just simply chatting with it.
