Yes and then your email and BTC are connected. Not good for privacy. It’s just „convenient“, there are good self-custody wallets out there that don’t ask for any personal information.

No. You don’t understand. There is no connection between your BTC received and email. It’s for those who want to conveniently send and receive BTC with proton email. When you receive it via email, it is received to a bitcoin address. Proton can’t know associate your email and bitcoin address. ...
