I have a friend who’s a green beret who is shockingly honest about the things he saw, did and experienced during the GWOT (global war on terror).

I asked him once how he can be so candid and he told me “that shit is like poison dude, you gotta get it out”

It was a good reminder that whatever “terrible secret” is festering inside, you should probably just say it out loud and be free of it.
