yep, it's true. I do consider doing it too, everyone I show this project to, first complaint is that their followers are too low lol

Upper bound according to what? Including the bots?

People on tiktok and Instagram pay money for their fake followers, it's got nothing to do with the platforms themselves, third parties make accounts and get paid to follow people.
