I think it's probably a lost cause. I like the idea of having an alternative to chrome based browsers, but I don't think its kept up with them.
I've been using it since it Netscape. I don't see what it hasn't "kept up with". Sometimes I'll encounter a website that's Chrome-only, but those aren't made by real developers.
