They probably know, but are reluctant to admit, that they will have to invest in gold mining to reduce gold price in order to fight the BRICS new gold-pegged currency AND make the dollar backed by bitcoin. But this will destroy their parasitic power of inflation, hence the reluctance. Will probably wait till the very last possible moment to do it.
