After deep diving on #nostr for about 8 months, it is shocking to see people fall inline to Meta’s Threads even with all the KYC & maximal opt-in private data sharing required to participate.

Do the masses truly want censorship resistant private permission-less technology? Do they care?

The vast majority do not know let alone care unfortunately. Convenience tends to be most peoples primary concern. Which isn't that surprising with how busy the system keeps us all.
