I think algorithm services for nostr is a great idea. I think Twitter has lots of useful algorithms. The trick is we need agency and transparency. Using the twitter ones is probably a good start.

I think a blank slate fresh start is much better. The technology floor has changed completely. I’d learn what we need to and move on from this.

Interesting. On a much smaller scale, initially we were going to port planetary.social to nostr and instead we build a new app reusing what we learned and small components from the scuttlebutt app. Being able to drop the legacy and start from scratch with what you’ve learned is powerful.
