i just don't see likes or other reactions as real interactions. comments and quote reposts add to conversations, reposts and likes do not. zaps are reactions with genuine value.
Ok I see. I see it less binomially. I don't disagree with what you value but for instance when an old friend likes a post, I think 'oh hey dude' haha, it's nice. I think it's a signal, just one that's between the two people only.
