Q4. Have you ever seen or brought a cycle on an airplane with you? How did you pack it for transport? I've heard that Bromptons can fit into overhead bins as carry-on luggage. Have you tried this? Do any other bikes fit? Is it worth it?

Great question! Every time I travel (trying to do less flying) I bring my Bike Friday New World Tourist, which fits in regular check-in luggage. I can then unpack it at the other end and ride a bike that matches my regular bike fit. I've used it: - to travel to meetings and see friends - to explore...
