I heard 85 million Vietnamese bank accounts were frozen until biometric scans were given at a bank branch.
Have you seen any evidence of this?
Problems paying?
No issues paying. I know they are trying to shift people to digital ids but so many of the country are bankless anyway (like go rural and it’s a cash economy). I haven’t heard issues from any of my friends. I have money in an account and no issues for my Vietnam account. Will report back if anything changes 😊🙏
