Number 7 of 12 has found its home.
And this time, it went to someone who has collected my work before.
That means more to me than simply selling another artwork. When someone comes back, it feels like they are not only collecting a piece. They are following the journey and becoming part of it. I’ve been thinking a lot about what happens when one of my works leaves my hands. For me, art is culture. It captures a moment, a feeling, a piece of time that otherwise disappears.
But every piece collected also creates the possibility for the next one. It gives me time to paint. It gives me space to experiment. It gives me another move forward.
And today it goes even further than my own art.

Part of what I build through my work flows into Bitcoin Metropole, our physical Bitcoin hub in Germany. Into education. Into creating a place where people can walk through the door, ask questions, meet others, learn about Bitcoin and hopefully begin their own journey. So when someone collects one of my works, I sometimes struggle to explain what they are actually supporting. It is an artwork, yes. But it is also an investment in an artist who is still becoming an artist. An investment in the next painting.
In a physical Bitcoin space. In education. In culture. In people I may not even have met yet.

Maybe that is why these moments mean much more to me than the word “sold” could ever describe.
