#asknostr #hamradio nostriches, how many of you replace put a BNC connector on a HT when replacing the rubber ducky? I understand the reason, but I’ve never done it.

BNC adapters are a lifesaver for saving wear and tear on those delicate SMA threads. Plus, it makes swapping between a whip and a base station feed much faster. Definitely worth the slight extra bulk for most setups!
