The "real" 'far right", as in actual, extreme militants, are a tiny minority, but the people that are unfairly labelled 'far right' and merely fed up with the ineffectual, corrupt government and police, are a majority that could topple the whole rotten edifice and rebuild, if they got aware and organised,which is of course what the PTB seek to prevent.

The danger is that both, both the disaffected but democratic *and* the actual extremists, are growing with every day of discontent, and that the actual militants will not limit their methods the day that it comes to blows, which includes abolishing democratic institutions.
